Copper ferrules are recommended for stainless steel wire rope. The size of the ferrule or wire crimp corresponds to the wire size, e.g. a 2mm ferrule will fit a 2mm wire and form the loop. Our copper ferrules are manufactured to BS5281. Wire rope ferrules and wire crimps are used for forming loops and eyes in wire rope. Ferrules are also known as crimps and wire rope sleeves.
